Healthy Cooking with Maroon Base (20th April 2018)

Maroon base are making lots of different healthy and tasty foods!

This week, we made a vegetarian sweet and sour stir fry using onions, peppers, carrots, baby corn, beansprouts, mushrooms and a sachet of sweet and sour sauce.

Everyone worked hard cutting up the vegetables and Andre even managed to peel a carrot without a peeler! We took turns stirring the vegetables and everyone had a try of what we’d cooked.

Lots of other children and staff kept appearing at the kitchen door as it all smelt sooooo goooood!!!!! We even let them have a try when it was cooked.
